My obsession with Clarins skincare continues! Their new Booster line…
It seems that some of the latest and greatest skincare innovations are coming out of Canada! I had my first experience with Laboratoire Dr. Renaud over the past few weeks and I wanted to share my thoughts (and excitement).
With 50 years of research and innovation, the products from Laboratoire Dr. Renaud are on the cutting edge when it comes to skincare. These Peel Pads are inspired by chemical peels you can get in spas or at the dermatologist’s.
But these are better than your average peel pad because there is lactic acid (a chemical exfoliant), fruit acid (exfoliant + even tone), and vegetal enzymes (exfoliant + radiance). These three types of exfoliants work on different levels of the skin and remove dead skin cells but also help change the structure of the surface layer!
You’ve probably used something similar before, and the Pure Kronoxyl-➈ Eye Contour Patches from Laboratoire Dr. Renaud are up there with my go-to Shiseido or Skyn Iceland patches. Using a blend of pro-retinol, aloe vera and Vitamin K, these give the undereye area a “lift” while also soothing them to relieve excess baggage.
Leave them on for 15-20 minutes and you’ll look like you had a full night’s sleep!
I’ve tried my fair share of sheet masks, but the ExCellience Lifting Anti-Fatigue Mask is really something else. Usually you have to choose a mask that targets one concern: fatigue, stress, loss of elasticity, fine lines. But this “tissue” mask takes care of ALL that and more.
Plus there is extra tissue under the chin to take care of your neck AND… there are ear holes for both the upper portion and the “chin strap”, so you make sure every inch of your face is covered. I experienced mild tingling with this and my skin looked very fresh afterwards.
If you’re looking to reduce the appearance of fine lines and “vertical wrinkles”, the ExCellience VoluSculpt 3D Cure serum promises to help. (Yea I totally had to look up vertical wrinkles. These are things like laugh lines and creases around the nose).
Apply two pumps to face and neck, AM and PM, and within a week you will notice a slight plumping effect in the skin.
It also comes with this weird contraption called a 3D Remodelling Sculptor. You use this before applying the serum to help prepare it (sort of like tenderizing meat, I guess?). I used this serum with the “tenderizer” for a couple weeks and noticed a slight lift in my appearance, but my lines aren’t all that deep, yet.
These are available at authorized dealers like at a spa, dermatologist’s or med-spa. Find your closest institute!
