SEPHORA COLLECTION Blush, Bronzed and Ready to Glow! Face Palette + More Than Meets the Eye Eyeshadow Palette review
I sometimes forget how amazing the Sephora Collection is. And…
If you loved the Anastasia Glow Kit in Moonchild, consider Aurora it’s bigger, bolder sis. It’s the same size, same price… but the shades aren’t pale duochrome shifts they are in your face reflective metallics.
(Check Chelle’s site for a full breakdown on Moonchild)
The packaging is laminated cardboard with a sleeve and it has a beautiful rainbow finish.
Each are highly pigmented and very smooth. Lyra has a bit more glitter than others that you can almost feel (but it’s not sandy or grainy). These are fairly heavy swatches to show you colour, but when applied with a brush, the shades are all just a hint of reflecting colour.
Eclipse is a pink champagne pearl with peach reflects. Just a soft, subtle pink that blends into the skin.
Spectra is a sparkling lilac pearl with an iridescent blue-green reflect (but I didn’t see much blue/green to be honest). This one is a bit scarier in the pan but doesn’t go on as dark as you would think. I am also wearing this shade on my lids.
Helia is a yellow gold pearl with a turquoise reflect. The addition of the cool-toned blue shift makes this a very wearable gold for me.
Orion is a blue pearl with a purple amethyst reflect that I AM IN LOVE WITH.
Lyra is a rose gold pearl with a champagne orchid reflect. This one is almost a bit too dark for my skintone and definitely works better as a shadow vs. as a highlight.
I am in love with this kit! I not only use it as a highlight on my cheekbones, but also on the lids, lips and clavicle! And if you’re scared it won’t work on paler skintones, I hope I’ve proven it can. The Anastasia Aurora Glow Kit is $40 USD and available exclusively at Anastasia.net.
