Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Aurora review

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Aurora review

If you loved the Anastasia Glow Kit in Moonchild, consider Aurora it’s bigger, bolder sis. It’s the same size, same price… but the shades aren’t pale duochrome shifts they are in your face reflective metallics.

(Check Chelle’s site for a full breakdown on Moonchild)

Anastasia Glow Kit Aurora fair skin review

The packaging is laminated cardboard with a sleeve and it has a beautiful rainbow finish.

“A collection of six metallic powder highlighters for intense luminosity.”

Anastasia Glow Kit Aurora swatches fair skin

Each are highly pigmented and very smooth. Lyra has a bit more glitter than others that you can almost feel (but it’s not sandy or grainy). These are fairly heavy swatches to show you colour, but when applied with a brush, the shades are all just a hint of reflecting colour.

Anastasia Glow Kit Aurora pale skin Eclipse

Eclipse is a pink champagne pearl with peach reflects. Just a soft, subtle pink that blends into the skin.

Anastasia Glow Kit Aurora pale skin Luna

Luna is a mother of pearl with orchid reflects. This one is probably my fave of the bunch for on the cheeks as it tones down any redness I may have. Plus… purple.

Anastasia Glow Kit Aurora pale skin Spektra

Spectra is a sparkling lilac pearl with an iridescent blue-green reflect (but I didn’t see much blue/green to be honest). This one is a bit scarier in the pan but doesn’t go on as dark as you would think. I am also wearing this shade on my lids.

Anastasia Glow Kit Aurora pale skin Helia

Helia is a yellow gold pearl with a turquoise reflect. The addition of the cool-toned blue shift makes this a very wearable gold for me.

Anastasia Glow Kit Aurora pale skin Orion

Orion is a blue pearl with a purple amethyst reflect that I AM IN LOVE WITH.

Anastasia Glow Kit Aurora pale skin Lyra

Lyra is a rose gold pearl with a champagne orchid reflect. This one is almost a bit too dark for my skintone and definitely works better as a shadow vs. as a highlight.

I am in love with this kit! I not only use it as a highlight on my cheekbones, but also on the lids, lips and clavicle! And if you’re scared it won’t work on paler skintones, I hope I’ve proven it can. The Anastasia Aurora Glow Kit is $40 USD and available exclusively at
