Benefit Brow Bars are Coming to a Sephora Near You!

Benefit Brow Bars are Coming to a Sephora Near You!

When I was in Melbourne, one of my first stops was the newest Benefit Cosmetics counter, complete with Brow Bar. You have probably read over the past year of my constant struggle with my brows (or lack there of). They are thin, patchy, very light and generally lacking that WOW factor. So I definitely need some professional help!

The Benefit Brow Bar promises to “Wow Your Brows” and offers a variety of services: wax, trim, tweeze or tint! And after, they’ll do a quick brow makeup application so you look your best.

(Excuse the cell phone photos and poor lighting!)

Even though I have sparse eyebrows, I did need a little help with the shape and removing the blonde fuzzies. She quickly waxed above and below my brows and tried to even out the arches.

Then it was tint time! We chose a shade one darker than my hair colour. The tint sat for about 6-7 minutes then she wiped it off leaving no dye on the surrounding skin.

This is after the tint. Yes it’s hard to see a difference but TRUST ME, having the light hairs tinted dark really helped every morning when I have to find the shape of my eyebrows and pencil them in. The tint lasted for a couple weeks too.

The Brow Bar was clean, quick and efficient. Trying to deal with super sparse brows can be a nightmare, but the ladies at Benefit Melbourne Central made a huge difference (and they were insanely nice).

  • I’ve had by brows done at the Brow Bar! I thought it was a really great experience. It was opening weekend for them (hence why I went because they were giving out free makeup bags). The person working on my brows was such a sweet woman, really trying to get to know me. 🙂 All in all great experience, but a bit on the pricey side for me. 🙂

  • I’ve had my brows down at the Benefit. I was in an area with no threading service at one point but they did have this! It was far more than I would normally pay but it was worth it for good brows. Each month killed me though. I loved each experience and I was working with a language barrier at my brow bar. So bearing that in mind and that they had to do deal with my pidgin language skills I give Brow Bar an A+!

The Brow Bling has been super popular in Pacific Centre! It would have opened up already, but there isn’t a sink yet 🙁
