Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Spiced Plum lipstick review

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Spiced Plum lipstick review

This year’s Bite Beauty holiday lipstick is the shade Spiced Plum. Like last year’s release, it’s in my favourite Amuse Bouche formula, creamy and highly pigmented.

It also comes in the same packaging as last year which is the typical Bite Beauty grey rubberized tube with lipstick prints on it.

Spiced Plum ($30 CAD) is described as a metallic berry red. The reason I love this so much is because all the Amuse Bouche lipsticks I have are satin/cream without any shimmer. This shade is stunning!

Shown here (up top) next to last year’s Mistletoe, which is still available. The one thing you give up when adding a hit of metallic to the Amuse Bouche formula is the pigmentation. Spiced Plum has a bit more slip and leans on the sheer side.

I applied two layers here to get maximum pigmentation. Can you believe how much shimmer there is though? Unreal!

In case you haven’t heard, I am obsessed with Bite’s lipstick. And Spiced Plum is no exception. It feels amazing on my lips, has a delicious citrus berry scent and looks great on! Have you tried this lipstick out yet?

  • Oh interesting! I wasn’t that into the shade based on the bullet colour – but it looks so good on you! Love seeing those little shimmer bits in the formula!
