Amidst the crowds, car horns, tourists and buzz of New York…
As someone who spends a lot of time underwater, preserving our ocean wildlife is a cause very important to me. The wonderful people at LUSH have partnered up with Discovery Channel’s SHARK WEEK in an effort to help promote the United Conservationists’ FinFree movement with a super cute Shark Fin Soap.
“With the support from selling 30,000 shark fin soaps, United Conservationists aims to create and unleash the most powerful shark conservation tool ever and take FinFree™ to the next level. This free toolkit will include a shorter version of the award-winning film Sharkwater, in order to educate and inspire the masses,” says Rob Stewart, United Conservationists Co-founder and director of Sharkwater.
INGREDIENTS: skin-softening seaweed, cleansing sea salt, lime and lavender. A paper fin in the top of the soap is a cheeky way for LUSH staff and customers to engage on the very important topic of shark finning and how everyone can help change the tide for sharks.
Shark Fin Soap will be hitting LUSH stores across North America as well as www.lushusa.com and www.lush.ca on July 30th to August 16th. With every purchase of Shark Fin Soap, 100 percent of the sale price to United Conservationists to support their FinFree movement.
