The Guerlain Neiges & Merveilles Holiday 2015 collection is hands…
Last week I shared an easy way to contour and highlight using Clinique Chubby Sticks, and this week I’m back with another Clinique product that helps define your cheekbones and give your face a chiseled contoured look using blush!
The SCULPTIONARY CHEEK CONTOURING PALETTE is a 3 shade blush that can be used separately to define or swirled together to give a soft glow.
The shade I received, Defining Roses, has a deep mauve, mid-tone rose and pearl pink. The trick to using these separately is a small or tapered blush brush.
All 3 are really soft and blendable. They swatch well (this is a 2x swatch) and they wear pretty much the whole day.
Swirled together they product a beautiful warm rose shade that has a bit of dimension and quite a bit of shimmer.
Using a MAC 138 Tapered Brush, I picked up a bit of the darkest colour and swept it on the hollows of my cheekbones into my hairline. I then took some of the rose shade swept it lightly right above the darker shade and I blended it down a bit.
I finished off by sweeping the highlight shade on the top of my cheekbones to really lift the look up.
I LOVE these shades on my skin, and I think they are neutral enough to work on most people. The finish is amazing, not too shimmery, and they blend really well and complement each other.
The Clinique Sculptionary Cheek Contouring Palette is $34 CAD, available in 6 shades online at Clinique.ca.
