Coppertone CLEARLYSheer Sunscreen Lotion, Faces and Spray SPF30 review

Coppertone CLEARLYSheer Sunscreen Lotion, Faces and Spray SPF30 review

Because I treasure our Canadian summers so much,  I tend to spend almost every day from May to September outside, if even for a little bit. And because I have very fair skin, sunscreen is a must. But why is it always so greasy??? Well Coppertone CLEARLYSheer Sunscreen is changing the game.

Coppertone Clearly Sheer sunscreen SPF 30

This lightweight non-greasy formula comes in a typical white lotion/cream, face lotion with a thinner consistency and a continuous spray. These have a bit of a light citrus scent, not like a typical sunscreen, they are all water resistant (up to 80 mins) and come in SPF 30 and 50.

Coppertone Clearly Sheer sunscreen SPF30

I tested all three over the weekend at a pool party and… I didn’t burn! YAY! But more than that, I didn’t feel greasy when I got out of the pool. The Face lotion was really nice and light, great under makeup and didn’t make my eyes tear up. The sunscreen body lotion had a similar feel to other lotions but it dried down a lot quicker and didn’t leave a white cast.

The winner of the three for me was the continuous spray. The nozzle made application easy (it let off a light, even spray mist) and after it dried I couldn’t even tell I was wearing sunscreen.

I’d say all three of these are YES in my books. Between bike rides, pool parties and scuba diving, I go through a lot of sunscreen and Coppertone is usually what is in my bag because it’s reliable and consistent. This new sheer formula just makes me love this brand more!

  • I tried spray sunscreen just last year and fell in love. It has become my new favourite way to apply sunscreen and this sounds like one I would really like!

  • nice pool you’ve got there!

I love spray sunscreens! The only thing I don’t like about them is they can’t be used when its windy.

i just posted a review on the new L’oreal Pro Glow Foundation on my blog. Check it out!
