You already know coconut oil is pretty magical and has so many…
Last month, I ended my long-term relationship with my Mach 3 razors for the Dollar Shave Club’s Executive Razor. I loved it, the price was right and it magically appeared at my door every month. But I was curious, would the cheaper models be just as good? Could I save even more money? Well… the short answer is no.
The 4x Razor handle is just as ergonomic and well-built as The Executive model. It has anti-slip grip and is made from high quality plastic and metal. Still a +1 from the Mach 3 plastic connecting parts.
The locking mechanism is still extremely well thought out and the head pivots, again just like The Executive razor I reviewed.
The razor itself is quite underwhelming. It has 4 blades, which sounds good in theory. The aloe moisturizing strip doesn’t really do anything and I found my skin quite irritated after.
I’ll be honest, this razor kinda sucks. I got razor burn for the first time in probably 10 years!
So in summary, the Dollar Shave program is AMAZING, but this razor is not. I have already switched back to The Executive razor at $9.50 CAD/month.
