Essence Cosmetics Time for Romance nail polish review

Essence Cosmetics Time for Romance nail polish review

I love when nail polish inspires me to break out of my normal routine of just plain single colour manicures. Essence Time for Romance nail polish arrived on my doorstep and I immediately thought of strawberry jam. Don’t ask me why…

Essence Cosmetics Time for Romance has rosy pink large hex glitter and smaller circle glitter set in a rose jelly base.

The formula has a great consistency, the glitters don’t sink and no fishing (on par with all my other Essence polishes).

Shown here over Essence Hello Marshmallow polish, I wanted Time for Romance to look like it was dripping down my nails. Like I raided a jam jar!

Here’s a better view of the effect I was going for. I didn’t have to layer much to get the opaque glitter (2 coats really). And it stayed for about a week!

I gotta say, I am pretty impressed with one of my first real nail art experiments.

You can grab this polish and any of the regular Essence nail polishes for about $2 at Shoppers Drug Mart or Ulta.
