I feel like everyone is maple-obsessed lately. But I ain’t…
To celebrate its 75th anniversary, Coach has launched a new Coach fragrance for women. And as you can see, the Coach brand is truly embodied in the packaging.
“A fragrance full of contrasts, Coach Eau de Parfum opens with bright, sparkling raspberry which gives way to creamy Turkish roses, before drying down to a sensual suede musk base note. It is the essence of the Coach Woman.”
The coolest little nod to the iconic Coach bag is the gold turnlock spray cap that imitates the clasp of those famous Coach bags.
The bottle itself is an oval shape made of very heavy, study glass. The top has a very unique leather accessory adorning it, a tribute to the brand’s luxury heritage of leatherware.
Of course the most exciting part of the packaging is that cute leather and gold metal hangtag with the horse and carriage Coach logo. I definitely plan on attaching this to one of my cheap bags and pretending I’m fancy.
Top Notes: Raspberry Leaves
Mid Notes: Turkish Roses
Base Notes: Suede Musks
Now usually I can smell rose right out of the gate when it’s mixed into a fragrance, but I couldn’t really with this one. I definitely got a hit of raspberry and some “green” hues on first spritz. It did wear down to be a bit more powdery and floral but not recognizably rose. The suede musk after a few hours is subtle and soft, and I think my favourite layer of this Coach fragrance.
Sillage on this one is low as is longevity.
