Flamingo Park is one of MAC’s Spring 2016 collections, and it’s…
If you’re getting fresh with anyone this holiday, you gotta make sure your lips are soft. (See what I did there?) The Fresh Sugar Lip Beauty Box gives you six different varieties of their well-known Sugar Lip Treatments in cute little metal tubes. Perfect for pockets and purses!
The set comes housed in a little tin and is worth $87 CAD, retailing for $54.
Here are the six familiar shades all lined up. You’ve probably tried the Sugar Rose before as it was a 100 pt perk and birthday gift from Sephora for ages. What makes the lip treatments so special? Well for one, they work! The formula is a mix of moisture-preserving sugar and oils from meadowfoam seed and black currants.
Sugar Tulip is a sheer hot pink.
This gives just a hint of sheer pink colour.
Sugar Rose is a very sheer rosy tint.
This one leaves just a tiny hint of pink, barely noticeable. Perfect to add a bit of warmth to your look.
For days you just want some moisture and shine with no tint, there’s the Original formula.
Sugar Poppy is probably one of my faves, a bold deep pink-red tint.
This one gives a sort of popsicle stained effect.
Shown here paired with Kat Von D’s Fawn quad (currently up for grabs in my giveaway!)
Sugar Honey is a warm nude tint.
This one leaves a barely there warm nude tint and a ton of shine.
Another fave from this set, this is great to pair with a smokey or bold eye look. Shown here with some greens from the Viseart Dark Matte palette.
Sugar Berry is a bold berry tint.
I actually expected a bit more tint from this one, but it still creates that “just been kissed” pout.
From the top: Tulip, Rose, Original (which you can’t see), Poppy, Honey, Berry!
And for some reason they included two pencil crayons to colour on the packaging. At first I thought these were lip pencils, but nope.
