For years, I have been using LUSH’s solid shampoo bars,…
I have always wanted to try hair extensions but was too afraid I would look ridiculous. I have had short to mid-length hair my whole life and dream of beautiful, long flowing locks. So when I was offered the chance to try Irresistible Me Clip-In Hair Extensions, I immediately said yes!
This little black box arrived at my office, full of hair. Yep, it’s as creepy as it sounds.
I chose the Royal Remy clip-in extensions in the shade Light Brown. This is the premium line from Irresistible Me, said to be the silkiest, bounciest and longest lasting.
3 pcs of 3 clips (6″), I am only showing 2 here since I hadn’t unpacked the one in the hair net at this point.
You can see the quality of craftmanship in the way each weft is sewn in place.

The Light Brown colour is nice warm, multi-tonal shade.
Now I’m not going to show you the back because it is a bit of a mess. I just got my hair trimmed so the ends are sticking out quite a bit and I don’t want that to bias my review in any way. BUT I was able to get my hair stick straight (thanks to June Croken, my magical hair stylist).
I’m using all 7 pieces here, the larger piece in the back and working my way forward with smaller pieces layering as I go. For a first time user, this only took 2 tries to get it to look fairly natural.
You can see that the colour blends nicely and the hair itself looks really good. The clips lay flat so there is no bulky mess around the crown of my head. What I’ve learned is that if you have short hair, you may want to curl or wave your hair and extensions to make it blend better.
And it’s SO secure!
The set I received costs $142 USD but it is definitely worth it. Plus, Irresistible Me often has sales and offers! I’m thinking of bringing these to my stylist to help me clip them in and curl them. It feels so good to have long hair!
