New to LUSH’s line of fresh face masks, Cranberry is…
There’s some magic inside the Lise Watier Hydraforce skincare line. It’s all about the Gaspé Algae Extract, a seaweed found along the cold northeastern part of the Atlantic coast. This algae survives severe conditions and can help reinforce the skin’s protective barrier and prevent water loss.
Keeping skin hydrated and protected is something we need to do every season, especially now that we’re probably sweating out a lot of our moisture intake. Luckily, Lise Watier sent over a hydration meter that, paired with their moisture level app, I can see if my skin is parched.
And… it was. My cheeks measured a measly 43.6% moisture. So I applied Hydraforce Creme-Gel and waited a few hours to see if it would raise my levels. Keep reading for my results!
Hydraforce Creme-Gel has a nice, light texture and sinks into the skin fast. This is perfect for during the day and under makeup. It has a very light “green” scent and sinks into skin immediately.
Hydraforce Comforting Creme has a bit of a thicker, creamier formula. It’s great if your skin has really lost a lot of moisture or used as a night cream, which is how I use it. Like the Creme-Gel, it sinks in very fast and leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft.
Hydraforce Lip Balm harnesses the power of the Algae extract in a thicker balm. This is perfect if you accidentally spend too much time outside and your lips need a little TLC.
As promised, my results! From 43 to 86%. And remember, I let the cream fully sink in to make sure it didn’t skew my result. I’ve been using Hydraforce for a couple weeks now, and it even helped me heal an allergic reaction to another moisture cream. Now my skin has healed and feels really soft, smooth and supple!
