Rouge Dior No. 9 was Dior’s first ever lipstick shade.…
One of the first things I did when I went to Ulta last month was walk directly to the Lorac section. It has been a long time since Lorac was available in Canada, and I love the brand’s quality and design. Although I didn’t grab much on this trip, the California Dreaming Eyeshadow Palette was calling to me.
“Chunky sweaters and jewels, wind and white plush clouds, the glow of the sun and your toes in the sand. Lorac Los Angeles brings you an eye shadow palette that was inspired by all the things we love about the sunny city in late winter.”
The shades are majority shimmer but there are a few nice satins and mattes for transition and highlight. Packaging is cardboard, like all other Lorac palettes.
The top row is mostly transition and highlight. These swatched nicely, no fallout.
The second row is for definition, depth and a pop of color. Starfish and Hot Toddy are gorgeous!
The bottom row has one of my favourite shades ever: Kitty Cat. This is one very light swatch! There is a bit of fallout with this one but it’s manageable.
I don’t remember the exact shades with this one but it definitely used the second row shades.
The formula of all Lorac shadows are blendable and highly pigmented.
In this look, I used my fave, Kitty Cat, on the lid.
You can see the slight fallout in the inner corner but, again, manageable.
I used Cable Knit and Boots for depth in this one, really going for a smoky outer V.
I love how this one turned out. Very easy to blend and apply.
I’ve been using this palette almost every day and am in love. I believe it’s limited edition, so grab it while you can from Ulta!
