I confessed my love for Clarins HydraQuench almost 3 years…
It’s not Christmas… it’s SNOW FAIRY SEASON! And this year, there is some LUSH Snow Fairy* newness giving me reason to celebrate.
Snow Fairy Cold Pressed Soap – $6.99
Not only does it smell like candy, like the entire Snow Fairy line, but it has a magic fairy wand on it! This bar is made from cocoa butter + coconut and sweet almond oils so you smell good AND your skin feels smooth after.
Snow Fairy Naked Shower Gel – $12.95
Much like LUSH Sugar Plum Fairy, the Snow Fairy line is also getting a wee bit naked. The naked shower gel is a cross between a soap and a shower gel. It lathers up very creamy but is a bit “wetter” than the soap. Now in theory this package-free alternative is a cool idea, but I kind of prefer the plastic bottle (less sudsy mess).
Snow Fairy Naked Body Conditioner – $10.95
Ok this is kind of cool though. The naked version of their body conditioner, which you use after the shower gel and rinse off, melts on contact with body heat or warm water. The consistency reminds me a bit of the massage bars but this lathers up. It’s made with organic cocoa butter, avocado butter and mango butter so you’re extra, extra fresh and soft after you shower. Plus, this stores a bit easier than the naked shower gel because of the weight distribution and flat bottom.
Snow Fairy Sparkle Jar – $9.95
When I first peeked at the LUSH Christmas release, I was sad to see Snow Fairy Dust was gone. But… it’s not! It’s inside this cocoa butter star-shaped jar. Now how the instructions tell you to use this is Fairy Dust inside first, then when you run out, use the box as a massage or hydration bar. But I like to rub the bar on my skin first, then sprinkle the dust on top for extra BAM! sparkle.
Just as pretty as I remember.
The shimmer is hard to capture but here it is in studio light. I rubbed the moisturizing star on my skin then sprinkled on the fairy dust.
