MAC Cosmetics Makeup Remover Wipes review

MAC Cosmetics Makeup Remover Wipes review

Sometimes I am just too lazy to remove all my makeup with my usual routine, so I opt for a makeup remover wipe and call it a night. My favourites right now are MAC Cosmetics Wipes and here’s why…

MAC Cosmetics Makeup Remover Wipes review 1

Swipe away makeup, smudges, dirt and grime, pronto! Oversized, luxurious, super-saturated with special M·A·C cleanser infused with protective vitamin E. Hydrates and nourishes highly efficiently. Extremely refreshing. Totally addictive. Slickly packed, re-sealable, ready to go!

The wipes comes in three packages sizes, but the one I have is the most travel friendly with 30 wipes in total. The re-sealable top is really one of the only ones I have ever tried that actually seals tightly to avoid wipes drying out.

The wipe itself is freaking HUGE, about the size of my face. It is made from a very durable fabric too, so you can wipe off even the most waterproof of products, such as theatre/stage makeup (which is what these were originally invented for).

The formula is amazing too. It has so many good ingredients along side the makeup remover, such as Vitamin E and other moisturizers, so one those particularly lazy nights, I can remove my makeup and not worry about a night cream or dry patchy skin the morning.

As for the efficacy of these wipes, the above shows what 2 swipes will do against waterproof eye pencil. Completely wiped out!

Regular (45 wipes with plastic resealable cap) – $24 CAD (.53/wipe)

  • I’ve heard such great things on these wipes! I’ve also heard that you can Back to MAC the lids with the plastic cap, which is awesome! 🙂

  • i’m so slow… i was like, the eyeliner is still there?!

these sound amazing! the 50 cents or less a wipe option doesn’t seem too bad, especially if you’re not using them every day and they actually stay wet.
