As part of Burberry’s Runway makeup look for S/S 2016,…
My other half of the Mac Metallics collection review. This time it’s all about the eyes!
The Nudes & Metallics had 4 “Metallic” eyeshadows in the collection. And I bought 2 of them to review for you (and because “limited edition” gets me every time).

Brazenly and Crimson Tryst, oh how I love thee. Both are the Veluxe Pearl finish, what I think is a mix between frost and satin. It’s buttery, shiny, shimmery with very little fallout and a lot of staying power. Honestly my favorite finish and nothing like the disaster that is Veluxe Pearlfusion.
I put these on with my fingers, something I never do, but since they are so easy to blend I thought why not. No primer, nothing added, just a bit of mascara. I’m not sure if I would mix the two together though. Maybe. What do you think?
Crimson Tryst – deep metallic dirty berry
It leans a bit pink on me, and from far away I think it may be too harsh on my complexion. I may pair it with a softer, lighter matte pink and use in the crease.
Brazenly – deep metallic purple
If I could marry an eyeshadow, this one would be it. Pair it with a nude lip and some soft cheeks and you’re good to go.
There were two other shadow I didn’t pick up from the collection: Love’s Lure (heavily metallic deep red) and Deep Fixation (metallic brown).
Unfortunately these are all sold out in Canada, so if you have a chance to grab them in your country, do it now!
Final verdict? GORGEOUS! Any eyeshadow that is this pigmented and easy to use on my problematic lids gets all the thumbs up from me.
