MAC Cosmetics x Philip Treacy Collection info

A quick Google search has taught me three things about Philip Treacy: he is Irish, he designs super fancy hats and his last name is pronounced “Tree-see”.  And of course, one of the main things I learned about Philip is that he has a MAC Cosmetics collection coming out next month!

Check out some of his work below!

And then there’s this…

This highlight powder right here. THIS has been circulating on my news feed for months. It is everything I want in a highlight powder, soft shimmer, a delicate design and a muted shade. The art deco style fans are definitely my style!

The MAC Cosmetics x Philip Treacy launches online April 11 and in stores April 16 in North America.

WHAT ARE YOU GETTING?

  • I am immensely excited by this collection!! Philip Treacy is known for making Princess Beatrics/Eugenie’s infamous hats for prince William’s wedding! I think he’s made a few for Kate Middleton herself! I’m mostly interested in the highlight powder – kind of wishing the lipstick wasn’t as bold/in your face shades!

    • Of course I LOVE THE BOLD LIPSTICKS. Obviously. I’m just sad No Faux Pas was included since it was just released in the holiday collection. I think that highlight powder is going to look super fab on you aaaand maybe the blue liner, yea?

  • OMG that highlight powder. I actually gasped when I saw it. The whole collection is just stunning though. I love the photos of his work… Holy moly. Beautiful stuff.

  • I love Philip Treacy. Excited to see some swatches and reviews of this collection!

  • Natalija Milanović

Hi, do you maybe know when it’s going to be launched in London? I am crazy about royal wink fluidline and can’t wait to grab it. Thanks.

    • I was only told April 2015 for international launch, not a specific day. Royal Wink is so gorgeous! It didn’t sell out on the US site at all, so you probably won’t have to rush for that one.

Great. I love that color. I have something similar, Inglot AMC Gel Liner 82, but it’s more violet that royal blue. I am really crazy about this shade.
