Want soft, velvety smooth lips? Try this mauve velvet lipstick…
So I normally skip eyeshadows when it comes to LE collections, but there was just something about these that made me pull the trigger…
Eat, Love – described as a Deep Emerald, it is actually bit darker than I had hoped. But that’s ok! It glitters emerald like a disco ball from Oz! I have never seen a satin finish with so much duochrome shimmer. Reminds me of Club or When in Rio (Temperature Rising) the way it shifts green.
Three Ring Yellow – described as a bright sulfer green yellow, this Veluxe Pearl is my favorite of the bunch. It’s a lot warmer than a green yellow and is just such an eye-catching color. Luscious, delightful and quite different.
Sex & the Oyster – described as a mid-tone grayed blue-green, it’s another Veluxe Pearl that has won my love. It may look plain in the pan, but it definitely is a gorgeous color on. I can see it really playing up blue eyes or complementing brown or hazel eyes.
Guilty Morsel – described as a glittery light gold, this has a Lustre finish. It’s a bit rough and dry in the pan, so it takes a bit of work to get the color to go on opaque. It is still a gorgeous light white gold though.
All shadows are $18 (CAD) each, but I usually pop them out and put in a palette, then I return the package to store for Back 2 MAC (6 = 1 lipstick, shadow, gloss).
And here is my lone (and spontaneous) fluidline purchase.
Final verdict? Holy moly I LOVE these shadows. They are everything I hoped for and more when I heard of the Indulge collection!
This collection is online at MacCosmetics.com now and will hit stores August 22.
