I am always on the look out for gorgeous everyday lipsticks with moisturizing ingredients, and it seems I’ve finally found some great options! The 10 shades I have here are new additions to the line, a good variety of different hues and finishes.
The buttery-smooth-feeling formula melts onto lips, instantly drenching them in moisture and locking it in. Infused with advanced skin care ingredients, the formula smooths the appearance of fine lines and helps lips look fuller.
The tube has a click-button top release, and I’m not sure how I feel about it. You push down on the top then pull the lipstick out of the bottom, as shown above. I would love to know if there is any added value to the package design. Does it keep the lipstick airtight? Who knows.
Berries a la Mode is a beautiful rich plum with a semi-opaque satin creme finish.
This one slips and slides a bit and has a tendency to feather.
A nice alternative to super vampy burgundy.
Chocolatte is a warm semi-opaque chocolate brown with a satin creme finish.
This one sticks a bit more and is a wee bit more pigmented.
Eeeeh, not so sure about this brown colour on me. It leans quite orange.
Citrus Fruit is an orange coral with a hint of shimmer.
This one is quite translucent with a lot of slip, which can diminish the wear a bit. This creeped into my fine lines too. Creeper.
The colour itself is quite lovely though. A touch on the warm side. The shimmer doesn’t have a grittiness either.
Coral Bliss is actually less coral and more rose.
Fairly similar in formula to Citrus Fruit, it has some slip and a bit of shimmer. A nice glaze on my lips though.
I was really expecting a vibrant coral with this one but am pleasantly surprised at the sheer beauty it is.
Exotic Mango is a rose gold shimmer.
Sheer with lots of warm gold sparkle. The glitter doesn’t migrate and is non-grit.
Much like the Coral Bliss, this is quite natural on me and leaves a beautiful gold sheen on my lips.
First Blush is a pink rose with a satin creme finish.
The finish is semi-opaque with a slight hint of shimmer which is barely noticeable.
This is a few shades darker than my natural lip colour but in the same shade family so it looks extremely natural on me.
Lava Berry a neutral plum shimmer.
Creamy and fairly pigmented, this one sticks well and is easy to apply. There is shimmer but not overpowering.
I am in love with this one. Mostly because it’s the most purple of the bunch, but also since it’s a unique colour in my vast lipstick collection.
Sassy Fuchsia is a cool blue-t0ned hot pink.
Highly pigmented and extremely creamy, this shade will leave a stain behind that is quite beautiful (and impossible to remove).
Like many of the hot pinks I have, this one really complements my fair complexion. The blue tone even makes my teeth look a touch whiter.
Tangerine Pop is a pinky-orange shimmer.
Semi-sheer and creamy, this one has less slip and slide than the other sheers. It just leaves a nice hint of pink shimmer.
Again, another nice rose-coloured lipstick for my everyday rotation. Not sure why it’s called “Tangerine Pop” though because it isn’t really a bold pop of tangerine orange.
Tuscan Rose is a semi-opaque warm rose in a satin creme finish.
Pigmented and creamy, this doesn’t really slip a lot and does tend to stick to my lips.
I saved the best for last (which alphabetically worked out for me). This one is almost a “my lips but better” only a shade deeper, darker rose.
Berries a la Mode, Chocolatte, Citrus Fruit, Coral Bliss, Exotic Mango
First Blush, Lava Berry, Sassy Fuchsia, Tangerine Pop, Tuscan Rose
