Burberry FOTD: Quattuor Complete Eye Palette in Pink Taupe, Light Glow Blush in Earthy, Kisses Lipstick in Military Red
I think I’ve dreamed of owning a Burberry trench for…
Brows… oh how I miss thee! Will Maybelline’s new Brow Drama Pro Palette be the answer to my brow woes?
And with its included double-ended angle brush and spoolie, these are great for on-the-go touchups too!
They are four natural shades: 250 Blonde, 255 Soft Brown, 260 Deep Brown and (not shown here) 265 Auburn.
255 Soft Brown is a few shades darker than blonde and is a beautiful warm brown that isn’t too orange.
Soft Brown creates a soft natural look on me. Using one end of the double angle brush, I started with wax to groom and sculpt my thin brows into shape and followed through with a spoolie. Then I used the other end of the brush to fill in with powder and create the head and tail of my brow (which I don’t really have). Lastly, I swept the highlight powder under my brow.
I found the powder for the Deep Brown shade to be a bit patchy on me and it was difficult to fill in the areas where no hair existed. I had to go in after with a pencil to really define it. BUT in the areas with denser hair, this performed really well!
The Maybelline Brow Drama Pro Palette are available this month at your local drugstore. This is a great option to help define and fill in brows with lots of hair, but if you’re like me and don’t have much to work with you may want to stick to the Define and Fill Duo!
WHAT DO YOU PREFER, POWDER OR PENCIL?
