Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham: Eye Ink in Black Myrrh, Eye Foil in Burnt Anise, Lipstick in Chilean Sunset
The Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham has finally launched in…
One of my spontaneous purchases at IMATS NY this year was the Melt Cosmetics Dark Matter stack. It wasn’t on my list and did I really need more warm matte neutrals? THE ANSWER WAS… YES, YES I DID.
These stacks are really cool because each pan is magnetic and sticks to the others. Plus, you get a ton of product (about 3.5g per shadow vs. MAC pans are 1.5g). The regular price on each stack is $48 US but the IMATS price was only $34!
And the top of each stack has a mirror! Let me tell you, this lil stack has gone to work and on road trips with me. It’s sturdy and handy.
Now let’s talk formula. All four shades are highly pigmented mattes. These are not patchy at all, no fallout and are very blendable.
BLURR – soft beautiful blending/eraser shadow
UNSEEN – cool-medium caramel brown
DARK MATTER – pitch-black
Using all four shadows, I was able to create a blurred, warm neutral look with the black as a liner.
I did pop a white shimmer on my lid for this, but the rest is Melt. The transition (Blurr) shade is magical because it really does help even out any color differences and makes everything look soft and blended.
Like… stop… this stack is gorgeous.
You can grab the Melt Dark Matter stack on their site now (and they even offer their shades in singles so you can build your own stack!)
