Another edition of the Dior Eye Reviver eyeshadow palette is here!…
Too Faced Born This Way Concealer is infused with coconut water for moisture, alpine rose for brightening and hyaluronic acid for a smoothing effect. This is a great, natural-looking concealer that really blends in well to the skin.
The doe foot applicator has a bit of an angle, making it easy to get into hard-to-reach places. The consistency of the concealer has a wet/watery yet creamy texture.
The Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer isn’t new but the packaging and applicator are! Plus, there will be an extended shade range including a pure white. I love the doe foot on this, it has a slight angle and a diamond-shaped head for precision. The formula is thick and slightly tacky on this, great if you have darker imperfections (or tattoos).
You can really see the difference in the formula over my tattoo. The Too Faced one is a bit thinner and has a more wet texture (as evidenced by the air bubbles), while the Kat Von D consistency is thicker and more opaque.
Too Faced concealer comes in 10 shades, Fair being the second lightest. Kat Von D concealer comes in 21, L3 with warm undertones being the 3rd lightest!
Left eye: Too Faced. Right eye: Kat Von D. See the difference? The Born This Way concealer is thinner with not as much coverage but it has a very natural appearance. The Lock-It Concealer is thicker so make sure you get the right shade (this one is a tad too light for me so under my eye looks stark). But damn does it make my undereye area look flawless.
WHAT DO YOU PREFER IN A CONCEALER: A NATURAL LOOK WITH LIGHT COVERAGE OR A THICK CONSISTENCY WITH FULL COVERAGE?
