Let’s be real, if anyone in my household is going…
So there’s one thing I’ve been neglecting in my anti-aging routine, and that’s my hair. I spend a lot of time and effort making sure my face, hands and neck all get top notch treatment, but my hair is always my last concern. As part of the Beauty United program, I got to pick a Pantene Expert Pro-V set that suited my needs, and Age Defy shampoo and conditioner is juuuust right!
Protecting your hair from its natural aging process just got easier. Pantene Expert Age Defy shampoo fights all seven signs of aging, from unruly frizz to split ends. Backed with a conditioner with Advanced Pro-V Molecular Technology, fragile hair is coated with a thin, protective layer on the surface helping to shield hair from maturing.
So what are these 7 signs of aging? Breakage, split ends, frizz, unruly grays, lackluster color, thin look, and dryness… of which I have quite a few (but luckily no grays).
Now I can’t comment on how Pro-V Age Defy works on grays but I can share why I personally LOVE it. First, the scent. It reminds me of going to a salon! It’s floral without being powdery, subtly herbal and sweet, it reminds me of my old-time fave Revlon Outrageous. And after 2 weeks, I admit, my hair feels a bit smoother and the colour just looks brighter and shinier. It’s not that I don’t use really high-end hair care regularly either, but this is surprisingly on par!
As I slowly make my way towards 40 (less than 2 years), I definitely need to pay more attention to the state of my hair. I would definitely recommend the Pantene Pro-V Expert series if you’re looking for a shampoo and conditioner set under $20!
The Pantene Expert Collection comes in 5 different formulas: Intense Smooth, Intense Repair, Intense Hydration, Intense Colorcare and Age Defy. You can pick these up at mass market retailers for $9.99. Visit pantene.ca more for information.
