From the moment I saw the “How to Make Bright…
Did you manage to get your hands on the most coveted beauty item of the year, Too Faced Sweet Peach eyeshadow palette?
“The Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Collection Palette is infused with the juicy scent and antioxidant-rich essence of peach. Create endless looks with 18 shades of peachy pinks, corals, bronzes, and pops of purples that will leave your eyes looking warm weather-fresh all year long. It features a Glamour Guide with three eye looks to get you started.”
The palette is the same size and type of packaging as the Chocolate Bon Bons. I love the metal case because it is amazing to travel with (I am taking this beauty to NYC over the weekend!)
Now the peach scent isn’t overwheming at all, just sweet and tart like Fuzzy Peach candy. It lingers a little when you’re applying your makeup, much like the cocoa scent of previous Too Faced palettes.
And these shades are unreal! I love warm pinks and peaches! The combinations Too Faced has put together is great, including some mattes, shimmers, glitters, and complementary purples and bronzes.
From the moment I saw the Sweet Peach palette, that top row gave me heart palpitations. Just Peachy and Bless Her Heart were even better than I had imagined!
White Peach (matte vanilla cream), Luscious (pearl peach champagne), Just Peachy (shimmering peachy pink), Bless Her Heart (golden moss), Tempting (bronzed black), Charmed, I’m Sure (matte medium cool brown).
Bellini was just as pretty as Just Peachy, only a taddarker. LOVE! Delectable is a nice matte but a bit patchy, the rest were perfection though.
Nectar (pearly peachy cream), Cobbler (peachy pinked bronze), Candied Peach (matte coral with violet shimmer), Bellini (gilded peach), Peach Pit (satin perfect rasin), Delectable (matte smoky amethyst).
The last row had some definite standouts: Puree and Summer Yum are great matte transition and blending shades and Caramelized is just the most gorgeous bronze. Talk Derby To Me was a bit powdery and had lots of glitter fallout (I had to swatch heavily to get this much colour payoff).
Peaches ‘n Cream (matte milky peach), Georgia (matte peachy pink), Carmelized (dark gilded bronze), Puree (metallic dark bronze), Summer Yum (matte gingerbread), Talk Derby To Me (shimmering black violet).
For the first look, I stuck to all the peachiest warm shades: Georgia and Candied Peach layed the foundation in the crease, Puree blended into the outer V with a hint of Charmed Im sure in the inner third of the lid.
I then blended Just Peachy all over the lid and you can see the shifty quality when layered over a darker base.
I paired this with other warm shades, Becca Luminous Blush in Snapdragon and MAC Versicolour Stain in Tattoo My Heart.
The next look, I wanted to use that beautiful moss shade, Bless Her Heart, so I started with that in the crease and outer third of the lid. (Using White Peach as a base). I then patted Bellini all over the lid and blended it into Nectar in the inner corner.
I wanted a bit of depth, so I lightly blended Tempting (a bronzed black) into the outer V and lined my outer lash line with it.
I paired this look with the same Becca blush and MAC Versicolour Stain in Energy Shot.
The Too Faced Sweet Peach palette hits stores AGAIN on December 15 and is extremely limited edition.
