Revlon Marchesa edition Valentine and Chameleon nail polish

Revlon Marchesa edition Valentine and Chameleon nail polish

As part of the newly released Revlon by Marchesa beauty tools collection, Revlon has also released some Marchesa-inspired editions of their permanent line, both lipstick and nail polish. You can see the two lipsticks in my other post. The nail polishes here are Chameleon (which was part of the Chroma Chameleon line) and Valentine (730).

Revlon Marchesa Valentine and Chameleon nail polish
Revlon Valentine and Chameleon nail enamel.
Revlon Valentine nail polish
Valentine – a dark almost blood red creme finish. Not streaky, opaque in two coats. MEGA glossy!

Revlon Chameleon nail polish
Chameleon – a beautiful antiqued gold look that shifts green in some lights.

What I Like: Both of these are very chip resistant and pigmented like crazy. The brush is fairly thin for maximum control too.
What I Don’t: The gold was a bit streaky but that’s not too noticeable from far away.

Final thoughts: Revlon needs to keep releasing these kinds of collection. Gorgeous!

Don’t forget to check out the collection that inspired it all, Revlon by Marchesa beauty tools.

Check out the Marchesa-inspired lipsticks!

These products were purchased by me and the opinion expressed does not reflect that of Trapeze Media or Revlon Canada.

  • the first photo is STUNNING. these are both pretty, but again, sold more by the packaging than the polish. I hope this Marchesa collaboration continues!

    • I hope it does too! As far as I know, it’s the beauty tools and done. BUT Revlon Canada has some other limited edition cool stuff coming up (top secret shhh).

      • hehe lady with all the secrets, I can’t wait to see 🙂 Or maybe I can… supposedly on a no buy and all that…

  • I really like Valentine, it looks so squishy!

I need Chameleon! That gold is gorgeous!!!

    • YOU DO! Not sure it’s a perm color though, BUT I am pretty sure it’s being released again this year in another (top secret) collection.

  • I actually just picked up Chameleon last night. Your swatch is so pretty! I need to get it on my nails asap!

    • Get it on your nails, girl! I change mine so often because of reviews. I am on nail polish number 5 in 2 days.

I stood in front of the Revlon Marchesa display at the drugstore and thought “that nail polish color looks just like Valentine”. Valentine is my all-time favorite nail color and I always have a few bottles on hand. I picked it up and realized it WAS Valentine. I wish they’d come up with two new nail colors instead of just adding that Marchesa design to the bottle. I tried one the dark-red lipsticks but it’s a tad too dark for me. Oh-well. I still enjoy Revlon and it’s by far my favorite of the drugstore/non-department store cosmetic companies.
Your nails look BEAUTIFUL. I look forward to reading more. Glad I found this.

    • I wish the same, Susan! I was hoping for something new too, but I am so happy with the cute packaging it can be overlooked. Glad to hear you love Revlon as I am a Revlon junkie.
Thanks for stopping by! Stay tuned for lots of exciting stuff coming up and a lot more Revlon, of course.
