You may recall that last month I attended a Sephora Spring/Summer…
I sometimes forget how amazing the Sephora Collection is. And for this holiday season, Sephora has really stepped it up with some beautiful limited edition palettes at great prices.
Sephora Collection Blush, Bronzed and Ready to Glow! Face Palette ($119 value, was $40, now $28 CAD)
This comes with a cool blush, bronzer, warm blush and highlighter. Each have a gorgeous geometric pattern that reminds me a bit of By Terry or Cle de Peau. You can swirl your brush all over and apply as blush or highlight or even use each colour separately on the eyes.
These swatch really nicely too, although I found the highlight to be quite glittery (and I was expecting the purple to show up more). Overall these four are great quality. Instead of separate looks for each, I have integrated them into a few looks below paired with the shadow palette.
Sephora Collection More Than Meets The Eye Eyeshadow Palette ($180 value, was $42, now $32 CAD).
That’s right 32 eyeshadows for $32! The centre of the palette has your everyday neutrals, good for transition, base and browbone. Then add your smoky, highlight or pop of colour shades from above or below. There are lots of finishes here from matte to shimmer to glitter.
BUT, be warned that the glitter shades have major fallout!
The first look I used a combination of blues (23, 25, 26). I found the navy blue shimmer shade had a ton of fallout and the mint shade could use a white base to really make it pop.
I used one of the neutral beige shades (15) for the transition as well as shade 13 for under the brow.
On my cheeks I have the cool blush from the face palette on as well as the highlight.
Lips: Charlotte Tilbury Opium Noir.
This look is probably my fave! I used a warm burgundy shade above the crease (19) and a matte brown (30) in the outer V. I don’t remember what the transition and browbone shades were, but they were from the middle of the palette.
On the lid I applied a sage shade (24) in the centre and blended in a more warm gold (29) to achieve this rusty gold shade.
On the cheeks I have a mix of the bronzer, warm blush and highlight from the face palette. Pretty, right?
I am pretty much obsessed with the highlight from the face palette.
The last look I actually took from the inside of the palette (there are two look tutorials under the pop out mirror). This uses a mix of all the purples in the bottom left corner (21, 22, 27).
I also added a hint of the matte blurple (7) to deepen the crease. Again transition and browbone shades are from the centre of the palette but I forgot to write the number down!
Another beautiful eye look that really makes my green eyes pop!
Cheek shade is just the warm blush and highlight from the face palette.
As I was in the process of reviewing these two palettes, the face one sold out online (but check stores for availability). Luckily, the Sephora Collection More Than Meets The Eye Eyeshadow Palette is still in stock and still only $32 CAD!
