Have you heard of ArteStile (art-eh-steel-eh)? I hadn’t either until last…
When I first saw the Sephora Collection Confetti Mini Sponges, I squealed at how cute they were BUT I was skeptical. I am a Beautyblender snob and don’t often stray away from my normal routine. I was willing to give these little babies a try though. For science!
Each of these sponges is uniquely designed to buff into the smallest corners of the face, or apply a full face of foundation depending on the desired effect. They work well with liquids, powders, creams, and mineral pigments to provide sheer, buildable coverage.
For $15 CAD, you get five little mini sponges in different shapes and sizes. That’s only $3 a sponge, which isn’t much of a risk.
There are lots of surfaces to play with: rounded, pointy, flat, curved.
Plus, having a small version of a Beautyblender sponge is great for around the nose, eyes and mouth. I actually like to use this one to help blend eyeshadow primer and undereye concealer.
The texture is a lot like the Real Techniques Miracle Sponge which is a bit denser then a Beautyblender.
And like the Beautyblender, these work better if wet (and they expand in size when you add water). The dye of the sponges does run a bit too, just like the BB.
LOOK HOW SMALL THEY ARE! It takes a bit of practice to figure out how each sponge works the best, but I found they really helped blend my makeup in hard-to-reach areas and the quality is on point! I would definitely recommend trying these out. I mean, come on, it’s only $15.
