Brow woes be gone! Anastasia Beverly Hills has released their…
When planning out a Warhol-inspired pop art look, I immediately grabbed my Sephora Craig & Karl Colorful 5 Eye Palette. It’s bright, it’s bold, and the packaging is right in line with the look and inspiration I’m going for.
“These color-coordinated shades are based on Craig & Karl color palettes with easy-to-wear feminine pastel shades that pop. The trendy palette case features exclusive Craig & Karl graphics, a handy mirror for on-the-go touch ups, and a double-ended smudge brush/liner applicator.”
The second shade is a light yellow gold glitter, great for the inner corner.
The third shade is a dusty mauve rose matte, great for the lid or the crease and it has a small hint of shimmer. (or even as a blush, which is what I used it for here)
The fourth shade is a light turquoise green matte which is not quite pastel but almost.
The last shade is a medium purple matte, great for defining the outer V and crease.
The lightest shade is pretty much my skin tone, so perfect for evening out colour and blending. The other shades swatched really nicely, although the purple was a tad patchy.
I used the turquoise green on the lid and into the crease. I then layered the purple on top in the outer V and crease.
The yellow gold glitter was patted on the inner corner for a bit of a glow.
Here’s my Marilyn Monroe inspired look! I used the pink from the palette on my cheeks and one of the Sephora Craig & Karl matte lipsticks on the lips (review to come). I was pretty impressed with the quality and pigmentation of this palette and can’t wait to play more.
And with that look I created a Warhol-esque “print”!
The Sephora Collection Craig & Karl Colorful 5 Palette ($31 CAD) is available in stores and online for a limited time.
