Spring/Summer Preview: Estee Lauder

Spring/Summer Preview: Estee Lauder

I have been to quite a few events over the years, but none as exciting as the Estee Lauder Spring/Summer preview I went to last week.

First, it was at Estee Lauder HQ in Toronto (the Mothership!) and second, I have been waiting for the Bronze Goddess collection release for what seems like months. Once you see the collection, you’ll understand why.

Estee Lauder MUA
We started the afternoon off with a quick presentation from Carly, who took us through the new Estee Lauder 3-Minute Beauty Solutions.

Each Global Artist from Estee Lauder was challenged to create simple, 3-minute beauty tricks/looks. The top ones were chosen to be featured at Estee Lauder counters worldwide. So basically you can go to any EL counter and ask for a quick fix look.

Look Perfect Brow
Perfect Brow
Start with the Double Wear Brush on Glow BB Highlighter Pen and dot it on at the head, arch and tail of brow. Blend each separately. Fill in the brows with a pencil from bottom up for a stronger brow, or fill in top down for lifted look.

Look Simple Smoky
Simple Smoky
Starting with the Glow BB Glow Highlighter Pen again (this thing is a workhorse) pat on lid as primer. Then take a Double Wear Stay-in-Place Eye Pencil and fill in from lashline and all over lid (I believe they used the coffee shade here). Smudge out with fingers, then set with shadow to lock it in place.

Look Sky High Cheekbones 1

Sky High Cheekbones
Use your outer palms against your cheeks to find the hollow. Then take Double Wear Stay-In-Place Concealer in a shade 1-2 shades darker than your skin and put on your pointer fingers (as seen above). Then pat each finger on the hollows! Add Glow BB Highlighter on the top of the cheekbones and blend towards each other but never together. For the finishing touch, apply blush in an X shape on the apples for a youthful glow.

Estee Lauder Courreges main
Estee Lauder teamed up with designer Courreges for this mod-inspired collection.  And the good news is, this will start popping up into some select Sephora stores in Canada soon!

Estee Lauder Courreges

Estee Lauder Courreges 3

My faves: the Highlight powder (currently sold out on Sephora) and the white liquid liner.

Estee Lauder GWP Lisa Perry

Another mod-inspired creation: Starting March 26, you can grab this amazing GWP at Sears. With any EL purchase over $36.50, get a Lisa Perry Designer Bag filled with goodies and a 10-day supply of foundation.

Spend $80 or more and add another small bag with 3 Pure Color lipsticks!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Eye Pencils

Double Wear Stay-In-Place Eye Pencils – I believe there are some new shades, including some LE, and the changed the smudger to a silicone one, so it’s easier to clean and more durable!

Estee Lauder Pure Shine lipstick loose powder

Perfecting Loose Powder – the softest, silkiest powder I have ever felt. It has a bit of a cooling sensation.
Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick – previously an Asia-exclusive, I know Jenn from A Beautiful Zen is obsessed with these.
Pure Color Nail Polish – new shades!

Estee lauder Pure Color Shine lipstick

I swatched two neutrals: Baby Cashmere and Mischievious Rose. Both AMAZING.

Estee Lauder Little Black Primer

Little Black Primer – boost your existing mascara or use as a top coat to seal in. (check out Jenn’s review)

Estee lauder Pleasures Floral

Pleasures Floral – a new addition to the Pleasures line. It’s a sweet floral, sort of Jasmine-y? I don’t love florals, but I love this!

Aerin Rose de Grasse and Gradual Tan

Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme

Revitalizing Supreme line with new Mask Boost

Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv

Re-Nutriv Ultimate Diamond Sculpting Infusion and Transformative Energy Creme

Estee Lauder Clear Difference

Clear Difference line including Complexion Perfecting BB Creme (I have heard good things!)

Estee Lauder Crescent White Vitality8

Crescent White – previously an Asia-Exclusive, this lightens and brightens!
Vitality8 – makes skin look refreshed and rested.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair

Did you know Advanced Night Repair is the #1 repair serum in Canada?

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair line

New additions include, Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex and Eye Serum

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess collection

The moment I had been waiting for, the limited edition Bronze Goddess collection. Behold… this beauty.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Oil

The Shimmering Body Oil Spray is so beautiful and smells like coconuts and the beach.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Shimmering oil 2

It leaves behind a really nice gold sparkle, I am in love with this oil.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess palettes

Two face palettes, the bottom one I believe is a Sephora exclusive? Sorry for the low-quals photos.

Are you ready? Are you sitting down???

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Illuminating Gelee Bronzer

The Bronze Goddess Illuminating Gelee Bronzer has been haunting my dreams since December. And wow, totally worth the wait. This subtle rose gold shimmer bronzer is perfect for my skin, leaving a sunkissed peach glow. Available at The Bay now…

And I was lucky enough to get one at the event, along with a gorgeous Pure Color lipstick and some Vitality8 serum. Stay tuned for my review on the Bronzer coming in the next few days.

On my shopping list:
