Alright fellow MAC Cosmetics addicts, the Holiday 2016 collection is…
I’ve been putting some of my favourite tiny beauty treats aside to build the ultimate Beauty Lover’s Stocking! This is a mix of things I’ve purchased on my own as well as some PR samples (noted with a *). So get your notepads ready because you’ll only need to stop at a couple places for these stocking stuffers.
First stop, SEPHORA!
Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Set* – $15 CAD
This adorable little set has every shade you need: a red, light nude, deep rosy nude and a vampy burgundy. Plus, the Sephora Cream Lip Stains are surprisingly hydrating and stay put quite awhile!
Shades are Always Red, Vintage Rosewood, Nude Blush, and Blackberry Sorbet.
Sephora Collection Fox in a Box Sponge Set* – $23 CAD
A lot like the Beauty Blender, these sponges can be used wet or dry to give your foundation an airbrushed finish. These are a bit denser than BB sponges, think more like Real Techniques.
The set includes three sizes: large for all-over makeup application, medium for cheeks, contour or highlight and a small one for under the eyes and around the nose.
Sephora Collection Avocado Eye Mask – $6 CAD
I absolutely love the Sephora Collection of masks, especially their lip and eye sheet masks. I just put this on for about 15 minutes and my eyes look awake and fresh! I’ve also used this after a severe allergic reaction and it cleared up puffiness and dryness.
Fresh Zodiac Sign Soap* – $18 CAD
These soaps are such a luxurious and personal gift! They come in every sign of the zodiac, including mine which is Libra. The Freesia scent is a soft, subtle white floral with a creaminess from the shea butter base. (I’ve also seen the Libra soap come in Verbena).
Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Liner – $23 CAD
I actually picked this up at Shoppers Drug Mart but it’s also available at Sephora and Ulta. The shade I grabbed is called Gamma Ray, a bright blue and silver glitter. This is perfect for New Year’s looks and adding a hit of glitter to any look.
Next stop, The Body Shop!
The Body Shop Bath Bomb & Bubbles – 4 for $10 CAD
A great filler for stockings, these small bath bubbles and bombs are wrapped to look just like candy! Scents include: pink grapefruit, candied plum, green tea, coconut, strawberry, mango, vanilla delight, moringa.
The Body Shop Vanilla Pumpkin Hand Cream* – $10 CAD
Body Shop hand creams are a great addition to any gift or stocking. These have a shea butter and sweet almond oil base which is great for dry fingers and cuticles. I love the seasonal Vanilla Pumpkin scent, but year round I use the Hemp and Almond varieties.
House of Holland x The Body Shop Lily Lime Bath Duck – $5 CAD
I bought this on a whim when I was visiting my local Body Shop location. It’s currently sold out online, but I am sure you can find it in store. (And you’re never too old for a rubber duckie!)
Next stop, MAC Cosmetics!
MAC Cosmetics Snow Ball 64 Lash Silver – $17 CAD
I grabbed these false lashes during a “treat yo’self” trip to the mall. I don’t typically wear lashes, but that glitter lash band stopped me dead in my tracks.
And the last stop is… the drugstore!
Nivea Lip Butter – $3 or less!
And while you’re picking up last minute candies and cards and gift wrap, grab a few of these Nivea Lip Butters. I am just obsessed! The Blueberry flavour is a bit tough to find, but Vanilla Macadamia (another fave) is available at nearly every drugstore.
So what are you hoping to find in your stocking and under your tree this year?
