How can you NOT love the Tarte Cosmetics Rainforest of the Sea packaging? It’s so pretty! And as obsessed as I am about this seascape design, I am even more obsessed with what’s inside.
A hypoallergenic daily facial cleanser that removes impurities and waterproof makeup.
This gel-like cleanser is infused with lavender oil, although it doesn’t really have a lavender scent… it’s more ‘green’ or herbal. It’s hypoallergenic, safe for sensitive skin like mine, paraben free and has lots of Vitamin C inside. It also, of course, has the Rainforest of the Sea Complex which is a mix of algae and marine flowers that help soften and smooth the skin.
It is rather viscose and lathers up a bit but feels more slick on the skin, but not slick like cleansing oil. This completely removed every stitch of makeup on my face: from eyeshadow and mascara to foundation and waterproof brows. My skin felt clean after but not tight or dry.
I just used up the last drop of my current everyday cleanser (from Nuxe) and the Rainforest of the Sea Deep Dive Cleansing Gel is an amazing replacement for that. I love the slick texture it has when I rub it into my skin and it feels like it is really deep cleaning my face!
