Have you ever de-potted an eyeshadow, forgot to label it…
If you hadn’t noticed, I’m very pale. Like “glow in the dark” pale. So when summer hits, I want to get a bit of a sunkissed look without actually having to tan, so I turn to bronzers and body oils! Well this year, Too Faced has two options that I am absolutely loving right now: Royal Oil Coconut Body Bronzer Oil and Sweethearts Bronzer.
The Royal Oil Coconut Oil Body Bronzer smells ridiculously good. It has a coconut oil base so you get that light coconut scent and deep hydration, but it’s also infused with Mangosteen for an extra kick of moisture.
Like most body bronzing oils, this is packed with coppery shimmer. The shimmer doesn’t settle at the bottom like other oils though, which is cool. No need for shaking.
As you can see, the formula doesn’t separate at all so this is more of a dry oil.
Swatched heavily, you can see the warm glow but also that the formula isn’t too wet or “drippy”.
Now when you blend this into the skin, it leaves a warm glow and slight shimmer but nothing too dark or orange even on my pale skin. And the good news is… it doesn’t transfer onto your clothes! Be careful around the insides of your elbows or in between fingers though because it will crease a bit over time.
If you’re a Too Faced fan, you’ll already be familiar with the Sweethearts blush. Well now this format comes in a bronzer!
The Sweethearts Bronzer in shade Sweet Tea is a duo of glow and bronze that can be swirled together or worn separately.
The formula is really soft with zero fallout and it swatches beautifully!
Pictured above, I really concentrated the deeper shade on the lower part of the cheeks and then put the lighter “glow” shade on the tops of my cheekbones. This gave me a nice sunkissed look and a lot of shimmer.
