The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion review

The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion review

Do you ever feel like your serums and moisturizers just aren’t working as well as they used to? Maybe adding an essence to your routine will give your skincare the kickstart it needs! The Body Shop’s Vitamin E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion is a pre-serum, made to boost the efficacy of the following skincare steps like serums and moisturizing creams.

The Body Shop Aqua Boost Essence Lotion review 3

The Vitamin E Essence Lotion is glycerin-based with a mix of Imperata Cylindrica Root Extract (a Japanese grass), Argan Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera and Biotin. It absorbs quickly, evens the texture of my skin and leaves it feeling cool and hydrated. I use this morning and night to keep my skin feeling soft and fresh. This has really given my skin a boost during the changing seasons and I can only imagine that it will be a skin saviour when the weather heats up!

How to use: after cleansing and toning, pour a couple of drops in your hand and apply all over your face, avoiding the eye area. Wait for it to absorb, then continue with serum, moisturizer and SPF.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion is already available in the UK and will be available in North America in the coming weeks.

Essences aren’t a new innovation in the skincare world. These light, milky “wet” formulas have been wildly popular in Asian countries for years. In fact, The Body Shop already has a few “essences” available now!

  • Loooove the vitamin E line. One of the only mainstream skincare products that I’m not allergic to.

  • I love the vitamin E products from the body shop! Especially the moisturizer! Last time I was in I saw this product but I was a bit skeptical about it. Glad to hear it’s a winner in your books – if they have a deal on it I might pick it up 🙂
