The Kerastase Chronologiste hair ritual will change your hair for the better

The Kerastase Chronologiste hair ritual will change your hair for the better

I never really put a lot of thought into how I wash my hair… not until Kerastase Chronologiste came along. This “total hair and scalp renewal” system gives my hair this crazy salon look and feel, only at home.

Kerastase Chronologiste Rinse Out Pre Shampoo hair care
First you start with The Gommage using the Keratase Chronologiste Rinse-Out Pre-Shampoo. I know what you’re thinking, “Why do I need to wash before I wash?”, but let me tell you this extra step is worth it.

This pre-treat scrub was inspired by skincare and helps detoxify and stimulate the scalp from root to tip. It uses Abyssine to regenerate the scalp and apricot seed to exfoliate. Think about it, you scrub your face a couple times a week, so why not your scalp? I’ve noticed a huge difference too, way less flakes and my roots don’t get oily as fast. (Also, there’s gold shimmer in there!)

Kerastase Chronologiste Revitalizing Shampoo
Next up is The Wash using Kerastase Chronologiste Revitalizing Shampoo. This contains Vitamins A & E to nourish and safeguard the hair. It also has a bunch of ceramides that provide UV protection for the hair (yep, your hair needs sunscreen too!)

Sadly, I didn’t receive this shampoo so I can’t speak for it’s efficacy.

Kerastase Chronologiste Essential Revitalizing Balm hair care

The Treatment is the last step, with Kerastase Chronologiste Revitalizing Balm. I use this 2x weekly to really give my hair a deep nourishing treat. It has a “salon” scent (a sharp musky floral) that makes me feel like I just paid big bucks to get my hair did.

This is a thick lotion that you apply to towel-dried hair and leave on for up to 10 minutes. It delivers shiny, smooth and frizz-free hair.

Kerastase Chronologiste Fragrant Oil hair care

The optional step is The Finishing Touch, and although it’s optional, I like it. Just smooth a couple pumps of Kerastase Chronologiste Fragrant Oil to dry hair for a kick of shine and a nice musky fragrance.

This is a fairly lightweight and clear oil that tames flyaways and makes hair soft and radiant. The scent is unreal, just like a trip to a high-end spa.  I’m sensitive to scents… this one is fine!

Kerastase look

This is after a week using the system and my hair has volume but is shiny and tame. It almost glows! Keep in mind, I don’t dye or use heat on my hair but it is thick and gets frizzy. The Kerastase Chronologiste ritual really does feel magical.

Your hair looks fantastic! I’m not a pro with hair, but the salon I go to uses kerastase products and I love them! I need this in my daily routine. 🙂

    • I am definitely not a pro with hair either, and this is my first go with Kerastase. Definitely wan t try more!

  • The scrub sounds so cool! It does make sense, especially if you use a lot of products and get build up

  • I used to go to a salon that used Kérastase and loved their products, but found them so pricy.
