12 lipsticks, 16 fluidlines… I think MAC is trying to…
The Peach Kiss Moisture Matte lipstick, $25 CAD, comes in this beautiful ivory packaging with a gold peach embellishment.
The scent is very peach, not too much but enough to make my mouth water a little bit. Sex on the Peach is described as a spiced mauve and is a beautiful take on a nude shade.
This formula is very creamy and hydrating with a semi-matte finish, and it’s even infused with a peaches and sweet fig cream!
To say I love the Just Peachy Velvet Matte palette is an understatement. I use this every day, either for a complete look or to complement some shimmers. This is a fantastic companion to the original Sweet Peach palette or to create a bold matte look on its own. And… it smells like peaches!
The first row is the most neutral of the three delivering a warm subtle brown gradient look.
Each shade was very soft and pigmented, blending out easily.
The second row brings a bright peachy pink and a beautiful plum purple.
Again, another complete look with well-pigmented blendable shades.
Peach Punch was not as bright as it looked in the pan but it did create a gorgeous crease shade.
The third row has a beautiful mix of peaches and purples to create my favourite look of the bunch.
I did have to use the highlight shade from the first row under my brow bone as this row didn’t have one. Peaches & Cream, the lightest shade, made for a great transition shade.
I did not use Chocolate Dipped for this look as I wanted to keep this pure purple and peach, but that shade is very soft and pigmented like all the rest!
So obviously I am going to urge you to pick up the Just Peachy palette. It’s an amazing value, only $55 CAD, and every shade is very high quality and unique within the palette.
