Winky Lux Kitten Eyeshadow Palette Review

Winky Lux Kitten Eyeshadow Palette Review

My favourite product in the November Boxycharm was Winky Lux’s Kitten eyeshadow palette, no question.

November Boxycharm

I mean, all the products in Boxycharm are good. The CoverFX spray sets makeup and leaves a dewy glow, those Luxie brushes are great for touch-ups at work… but that Kitten-y palette stole my heart.

I mean look how adorably weird this packaging is! And it’s my preferred compact format: thin cardboard. Plus, the shadows are extremely high quality and very pigmented.

Using Holographic on the lid and the two burgundy shades (matte + shimmer) in the crease and outer V.

I love Holographic because it has a shimmery wet look to it, and it’s very similar to Colourpop’s Glass Bull.

I went a little heavy on Strut, the camel transition shade.

I centered this look around 9 Lives, the navy blue shimmer in the outer V. I was surprised at how easily this blended out with very little fallout too!

On the lid is Cateye, that gorgeous copper metallic. It’s buttery and smooth. And I’m wearing Purr, the pink opal, in the inner corner. Again, another shadow I adore.

This last look I did to make sure I tested out the matte brown, Boots. It’s a shade that’s easy to blend and build, and it created great depth and definition in the crease.

And of course, I used Cateye for this look again because it’s just so pretty!

Paired here with a Dior Matte Fluid Lip and Cheek Velvet on the cheek and lips.

So I think it’s obvious that this palette is a winner for me! It has made it into my daily rotation amongst other greats like ABH Modern Renaissance and Colourpop Yes, Please. And… it’s only $25!

The Winky Lux Kitten Palette is available at Ulta as well as directly from WinkyLux.

The shades make such beautiful looks for your eyes. I especially like the blue green on the crease but would darken it a bit cause it’s so pretty!!
