For this month’s Julep Maven box, I chose the Modern…
I’m Chantal from Chantal’s Corner and I’m happy to be a guest for Julie while she’s exploring a land down under! 😉
Today I’m sharing with you one of my favourite nail polish. Before I really got into doing my nails I only had 5 bottles and Zoya “Kierra” was one of them.
Back in May I had my maternity pictures done and I didn’t know what to put on my nails, and when that’s the case this is one of the few shades I go for. Let’s take a closer look…
The Zoya brushes are your typical round brush and they work well.
Zoya describes this colour as: Fascinating brown-based wine purple with fine metallic mauve shimmer. An earthy wine that compliments fall fashions.
I never would have guessed the brown base, but regardless of the description I love this colour!
This nail polish is fully opaque with two coats, but because this was for a photo shoot I put on three coats for safe measure, and then finished it off with a top coat (Butter London Hardwear P.D. Quick Top Coat).
When in doubt, this is one of my go-to colours. Isn’t it just gorgeous?!? What colours are you go-to’s?
Thank you Julie for letting me take over your blog today! 🙂
Note from Julie: OMG I’m in Sydney!!! I begin my long flight home tomorrow though.
