For the 3rd year, Bite Beauty has created mauve-toned lipstick…
Well, Bite Beauty has done it again… they’ve created a product I didn’t know I wanted or needed! They’ve extended their Multistick line to now include the Bite Beauty Prismatic Pearl Multistick ($28 CAD).
And right before I was about to buy them all, Bite PR graciously sent me over the entire collection. BAAAM!
“A shimmering multistick that applies like a cream and wears like a powder for mesmerizing, pearl-inspired color.”
These are blendable, smooth, creamy and have 35% powder pigment which gives great colour payoff. Plus, it’s silicone free and gluten free making them wearable for people with sensitivities!
Blush Pearl – metallic white with pink shimmer
This one is a bit too pale for me on the lips, sort of like the Opal lipstick they released last year. This would be nice as a topper or as a highlight (which you will see in a second).
I honestly was not ready for this pic (and at this point and about one wine in). This is end of the day, little foundation and tired eyes. But I wanted to show you how this looks on fair skin.
Shown here as a highlight, this is quite gorgeous on the top of my cheekbones and under my brow. (Paired with Rose Pearl on the lips, scroll down for that one.)
The trick to using this as a highlight is to warm it up on your finger and tap it on. I then blend mine out with a sponge a bit.
Peacock Pearl – metallic teal with black, red and green shimmer
Ok this is the one I was most excited about but it is a NO from me. If you’re looking for this colour combo in a lip formula, try the Prismatic Gloss instead.
I am wearing this on my eyes here as well and NOPE. This gives a cool glossy look but creased in like 2.5 seconds. But luckily, this is the only stick I couldn’t get to work.
Also fun side note (and I am only sharing this because I’m two wines in), I was super tired when taking this photo so I attempted to blur out my undereye bags and now it looks weird but… yea I don’t care.
Pink Pearl – metallic pink with red and pink shimmer
This one looks really great on the lips actually! I sadly don’t have a pic of my full face wearing this as a lipstick, but I did wear it as a highlight and paired it with Oyster Pearl below.
Oyster Pearl – metallic taupe with silver shimmer
Something about this finish, I could not for the life of me get my camera to focus. It’s just too shimmery! This is probably one of my fave multisticks because it made my lips look pretty much perfect. I think this would be an amazing shade on deeper skin as a highlight also.
Wearing Pink Pearl on my cheekbones and Oyster Pearl on my lips. I am feeling this look to the max.
Rose Pearl – metallic rose with green and violet shimmer
I mixed Rose Pearl with the Agave Lip Mask for this glossy effect and I actually love how it came out. Upclose you can see the glitter particles a bit but honestly they didn’t migrate AT ALL.
Wearing Blush Pearl as a highlight and Rose Pearl on my lips, this is quite literally the most beautiful shimmery look of my life. You can tell I am feelin’ myself here because of the super smize to the camera.
(Yea, I’m now three wines in now.)
Swatches in indirect daylight. This really shows you the texture and pigmentation. I had such high hopes for you, Peacock Pearl.
In studio light you can really see the glitter/shimmer of each.
So what do you think: Do you need these or…. do you NEED these? The Bite Beauty Prismatic Pearl Multisticks are available at Sephora now!
