I’m dropping a little beauty science on you today! Avon…
There’s nothing like a row of beautiful Dior eye palettes to make my heart flutter. The Dior 5 Couleurs Designer All-in-One Eye Palette in 718 Taupe Design is probably one of the softer combinations in this line. But like all the rest, it only takes a few easy steps to achieve a beautiful everyday eye look.
What’s your opinion on brushes that come inside palettes? I generally don’t use them, especially the sponge-tipped ones. But I find the eyeliner one included in the Dior palette to be pretty good!
The palette is like a simple paint-by-number:
1 – Prime the whole eye area
2 – Lid shadow into crease
3 – Enhance and define the crease and outer V
4 – Highlight the inner corner
5 – Define the lashline
The defining shade used in the crease is very soft and subtle, creating a sheer sculpted look. And you can see some of the slight sparkle from the prime shade under my browbone.
The inner corner highlight shade on this is amazing. It has a soft creamy “bouncy” texture without feeling grainy. The liner on this one was a bit trickier to work with and I had to go over my lashline a few times, but I do like that it’s a warm almost purple brown.
