Note from Julie: Glambunctious is one of the first blogs I ever really subscribed to and read on a regular basis. I am super excited to have Kristen on the blog and I suggest you finish up this post then RUN over to her blog and read everything 🙂

All three Silkissime (pronounced “sil-ka-seem”) pencils sail across the skin like butter with nary a tug or skip.  They truly feel like a gel liner in an easy pencil format!  Even though they are unbelievably silky, they set fairly quickly and stay put from dawn ’til dusk.  On my ridiculously oily lids, they hold strong for 13-14 hours!  They may last even longer than that, but that’s the longest I’ve sported them.

Highlighter, a champagne pink, makes a beautiful inner corner/lower lash line luminizer and can be blended out all over the lid for a quick “Hello! I’m awake!” look.
Loreal Silkissime Eyeliner Pencils Cobalt Blue
Cobalt Blue is insane!  The pigmentation is off the charts!  Talk about a perfect partner for a bold eye.
Loreal Silkissime Eyeliner Pencils Green Ivy
Green Ivy, *the* perfect olive green liner I’ve been hunting for months, is a stunner.  The golden tones in this one really bring out the yellow in brown, hazel, and green eyes!
Loreal Silkissime Eyeliner Pencils Green Ivy Cobalt Blue Highlighter review
While I didn’t experience any smudging or fading, they also weren’t a nightmare to remove.  Bonus!  I use a cleansing oil followed by a foaming cleanser, and there’s very little evidence leftover post-cleanse that I’ve worn liner that day.  These have a very soft texture reminiscent of a kohl so if ultra thin precision lining makes your world go ’round, you may want to stick with a liquid liner.
I definitely think these beauties are an amazing value and perform on par with liners that retail for over twice as much.
Have you tried a Silkissime liner?  Which color speaks to you?
Note from Julie: I’m home!!! (and most likely sleeping off the jet lag for a few days). Today and tomorrow is Spark Sessions… then back to real life!
