Milani Baked Blush in 07 Fantastico Mauve review

If you’re looking for a less expensive alternative to MAC Mineralize Blushes, look no further! The Milani Baked Blushes line is a near perfect dupe.

Milani Baked Blush 07 Fantastico Mauve
The first blush I have to review is 07 FANTASTICO MAUVE – a gorgeous purple with mauve and hot pink swirled into it. The texture is very soft and finely milled. Pigmentation is quite high as well. Goes on a deep plum.

Flip the blush up and there’s a compact brush and mirror underneath too. MAC blushes don’t have that…

With a light hand, you can get a very subtle mauve sheen on your skin.

This has some shimmer but doesn’t accentuate pores too much. It applies very evenly and doesn’t kick up any powder when swirling your brush around.

My thoughts: When compared to MAC Mineralize, I’d say this is pretty close. The pigments aren’t AS finely milled as MAC and the Milani have a bit more shimmer, but a serious run for your money. Dare I say, the Milani baked blushes are more pigmented and soft… Plus, it’s the same size (3.5g).

I picked this blush up for under $10 at Loblaw’s. I can’t find it online anywhere, but you can pick up other Milani Baked Blushes at Well.ca.
