This month’s Julep theme is The Chrysalis collection, and with it…
Who says boys can’t wear pink… or makeup? For years now, the feisty and fabulous Patrick Starrr has been breaking rules, kicking ass and taking names. Now he has partnered with Formula X nail polish for this month’s #ColorCurators shades. And of course, these shades are fierce!
Formula X polish is free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates. It’s quick drying and ultra high-shine.
“Make a statement with #ColorCurators: Patrick Starrr Edition, hand-picked by beauty vlogger and makeup artist Patrick Starrr. Inspired by his passion for diversity, these versatile pink shades are unique in their own way.”
Celebrate the month of love when you coat on She Better Werk, a romantic peony pink shade.
Opaque in two coats and super flattering, She Better Werk is such a pretty pink it has me thinking of spring already!
Flaunt your fierce side with YAZZZ, a bold fuchsia color.
Two coats shown but you don’t really need it. And this fuchsia is shiny as F*$#.
And now, move over for the spotlight stealer… step up your glamour with Lucky Starrr, a hot pink glitter.
This shifty hot pink glitter is so packed with duochrome pigment it makes me cry. It shifts from in-your-face pink to this gorgeous sort of hot gold colour.
You can see a bit of the salmony gold shift here.
Look at that glitter. It’s not gritty at all, more of a soft duochrome shimmer. This is not a top coat, it’s a full coverage polish!
This is two coats shown above, and I only needed the second just for that full, bold pigmentation. This is gorgeous and really longwearing too unlike other chrome pigments.
Another shot for good measure. This one is definitely my fave.
So I think you should say YAAAASS! to all these collab shades, but of course if I had to pick one shade from Patrick Starrr’s #ColorCurators colab it would be Lucky Starrr because… GLITTER BLING.
The Formula X #ColorCuratos series for February are available exclusively at Sephora, online and in stores now!
