In honour of Canada Day, I am sharing with you…
Tonight I heard my first “cold weather alert” of the season, so we’re officially in the thick of it my friends. Time to get real with some dry skin solutions! This month, I’m turning to the NUXE Rêve de Miel line (roughly translated as “honey dreams”) for some extra comfort and hydration.
Honey is known for its healing, repairing and cleansing properties, so when mixed with other botanical oils and it’s a match made in heaven for the skin. The Face Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Gel has a light floral honey sent and melts into the skin as it foams up.
It really does remove all makeup, even mascara that’s non-waterproof. It left my skin feeling really soft. And I just cannot get over that intoxicating scent.
Now my hands haven’t seen the worst of winter yet, but soon my fingers will start cracking and peeling (gross, I know). I’ve started to use NUXE’s Hand and Nail Cream to keep my hands hydrated while the temperature plummets.
Like the cleansing gel, this has a beautiful honey scent to it. It feels silky on the skin and sinks in really fast.
I have a thing for lip balm. There are little pots and sticks in every pocket, drawer and purse in my life. I’d even call myself a lip balm expert, and the NUXE Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm is now up there with my faves (which include Malin + Goetz and Bite Beauty). This is very rich but not overly greasy and even works on other chapped areas like noses and ears. I had a small chapped area under my bottom lip and this healed it literally overnight!
The NUXE Rêve de Miel collection also includes day ream, body cream, and a lip moisturizing stick. These are all available at Shoppers, Murale and The Bay in Canada (I found a sweet deal on value sets at BeautyBoutique).
